Widely regarded as the most beautiful of the two islands, the South Island has some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Huge mountains, open plains, beautiful coastlines, rugged coastlines and places to play amongst the lot. Play in the Mountains of Lake Wanaka or Queenstown, play the coastlines of Canterbury and Marlborough or under the sunshine in Golden Bay or Nelson.
If you’re looking for variety, the Nelson/Marlborough regions have just that, play along the stunning Kaikoura Coastline, amongst the vineyards of Marlborough or under the sun at Greenacres in Nelson. Throw in some fishing for good measure and a tipple of local produce. What could go wrong?
Try you hand at some of New Zealand’s most picturesque and accessible courses. Jack’s Point, Millbrook, Arrowtown and The Hills to name a few. All courses are handy from Queenstown with an array of adventure activities, accommodation selection, eateries and entertainment to round off the trip.
Canterbury has a wide variety of course to play. Play the Clear Water by Christchurch, surrouded by mountains at Hanmer and Terrace Downs at the foothills of the Southern Alps. Throw in the Hot Pools and a night out in Christchurch and round off a great few days.
